I was driving to pick up one of the other missionaries and I saw this bald eagle down in the road eating a raccoon. When I drove up, he flew up in the tree. We were able to get this picture of him. He was just beautiful.
We have seen so many different creatures here in Missouri. It has been very exciting to me.

I love the picture. We had such a great time when we were in Alaska seeing all the bald eagles there. How fun for you to have one so close!

That reminds me of living in Alton, Il. We had bald eagles fishing from the Mississippi river during the winter. Amazing!!
